FAQs

1. What information is available in the CLTFBS?

CLTFBS is a database for the calculation results of six common livestock transcription factor binding sites of pigs, cows, horses, sheep (goats, sheep) and dogs. The database contains the information of transcription factor binding sites, transcription factors and corresponding target genes of six livestock. Queries can be made by entering the species name, gene name, and transcription factor binding site id.

2. What data CLTFBS contains?

CLTFBS annotated 27411908 transcription factor binding sites in 6 common domestic animals. TFBS of 7485353 pigs, 4407246 cattle, 4384079 goats, 1389624 sheep, 2696569 horses and 7049037 dogs were labeled with a total of 105763 genes, and a total of 77398 TF with high similarity was found.

3. When should CLTFBS be used?

The CLTFBS database may be used in the following situations:
1. Hope to build a relevant regulatory network through data;
2. Persons interested in transcription factors critical to the development and progression of livestock diseases and zoonoses;
3. People who are interested in the study of the co-regulation of transcription factor binding sites;
4. Individuals who wish to perform large-scale or in-depth computer analysis of cis-controlling elements in livestock.

6. Data source and bioinformatic tools
